Regular Sessions – 60 minutes + Session Notes

Rosemarie meets 1:1 with the student for 60 minutes 1x or 2x per week depending on specific needs. Each session is customized and organic to each individual student in an effort to strengthen executive function skills and achieve optimal growth. The focus areas at each session are to a) learn how to make time visible by reviewing and planning out the workload for each class/course properly, in a planning guide, and recording appointments, b) reflect on what went well and why to celebrate growth and strong habits, c) reflect on challenges with assignments or classes to build self awareness and create a correction plan and new habits for success, d) as needed model learning strategies and study skills strategies to help the student with the “initiation” (getting started) process so the student leaves a session prepared and empowered, e) learn to respectfully self advocate with teachers/professors via emails and after school/office hour appointments.

Rosemarie believes in a holistically approach to supporting the student and recognizes student success thrives from a Team approach between student, coach and family/guardian. Session notes are provided to parent(s)/guardian(s) after each session as well as consultation between sessions, as needed within reason.
